Who We Are
Since 2009 Aqua Terra Environmental, LLC has grown from a one-woman operation to a full-service consulting firm. In late 2017 Janel decided to begin the crucial process of growing the company via calculated client, staff, and expertise expansion. Janel wanted to expand Aqua Terra’s technical expertise so that the business could handle all aspects of Clean Water Act regulations as it relates to construction activities. This business decision has allowed Aqua Terra to become true experts in permitting, regulation, inspections, and training. Today, Aqua Terra is organized into 6 divisions: Environmental Engineering, Environmental Water Management, MS4 Consulting, Environmental/Regulatory Training, Environmental Legal Representation/Consulting, and Control Measure Installation. In addition to our 6 divisions, we have a full complement of office and field staff.
Aqua Terra prides itself for creating long lasting professional partnerships with a diverse list of clientele across Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico which includes: Western States Reclamation INC, Bryan Construction INC., ECI Site Management, Forgen INC., L&M, & MHFD to name a few. Aqua Terra is proud to say we are a full service corporate environmental engineering firm able to provide: consulting, permitting & inspection, and construction oversight/management services for all of our client’s projects. While Aqua Terra has expanded the scope of our private industry work and we have continued to support our MS4 clientele. We continue to work with both standard and non-standard MS4s such as CDOT, Jefferson County Public Schools, and SEMSWA to provide & maintain uniquely designed programs that fit the individual clients/project needs.

Where We Work
Our work takes us not only throughout our colorful state but interstate as well. While our home offices are based in Conifer, CO. we spend most of our time on construction sites located all across the Front Range; spanning from the Wyoming border to Colorado Springs. However, we have also curated professional partnerships with a diverse list of clientele outside of Colorado which includes partners in Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico.
